Since creating a profile on arbtalk we have had some good quality wood chip dropped on site. Previously we have had local tree surgeons dropping but we could never get enough, we now have a decent size pile which we will surely work through on planting jobs and landscapes. Had my site listed just over a fortnight and got my first drop today. Our place can be quite hard to find but they found it easily. Here and gone in about 5 minutes. Load was clean chippings (and they were). no access problems. All good. Good resource for the trade and recipients. Well done for developing it.

Registered on the Arbtalk database and was thrilled to have a company call us with a load of bark which they dropped (within an hour of calling us) to the gateway of one of our horse paddocks. This has proven to be a great area to drive in and prevented the gateway from becoming poached.Excellent!

We’ve met a lovely local guy called Steve who has given us a huge load of chippings so far!

We now have his contact details for future projects and he can certainly do with the off loading!

I’d recommend Arbtalk to anyone who wants to know- working in collaboration like this helps keep our community links strong and promotes the green ethos of our forest school- making sure our natural resources are used properly!

We received lots of free wood chips and logs all from this site which we have used on our woodland paths to make it much safer for our children.
